Kevin Grafer – Full-time FDNY Firefighter and United State Air Force veteran with over 14 years of firearms experience. NRA Certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor. Former Air Force Security Forces with a calm, tactical edge. Kevin continues his training by recently attending Travis Haleys D3 Pistol class, where he earned top remarks. Kevin is also a USPSA competition shooter.
Ryan Sloan – Owner of Apex Security Consultants, U.S. Army Infantry Veteran, and full time teacher at West Point Military Academy. Ryan trains at the Sig Sauer Academy and attends world-class courses across the country, most recently, SIG Sauer Advanced Pistol Instructor, Bullets & Vehicles and Close Quarter Pistol Operator, earning the Top Shot Award at many classes. SIG Sauer Advanced Pistol Instructor, NRA certified Pistol Instructor, NYS, Utah and Connecticut approved. USPSA competition shooter.
Brian Reynolds – Apex Graduate, USPSA and Steel Challenge competitor with over 7 years of experience. Brian has attended training sessions with Mason Lane, one of the world’s top competitive shooters, to continue pushing his performance to the next level.
Samuel Talerico – Lead Instructor at Apex. U.S. Army Certified Small Arms Weapons Expert and recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in small arms weapon systems. Combat-proven in Afghanistan, Sam is a trusted weapons instructor and senior range safety officer with deep technical and operational expertise.
